For the past three years, I’ve been exploring Tamil literature – reading slowly, with awe & confusion, but also with a sense of homecoming. These writings have carried voices, questions, and emotions that feel both timeless and personal.
Through this blog, I hope to translate some of those Tamil short stories and essays into English. My aim is not just to bring these rich and thoughtful works to a wider audience, but also to trace something within myself that I seem to have left behind – a language, a rhythm, a way of seeing. In doing this, I’m beginning a journey that moves in two directions at once: outward, toward sharing what I love; and inward, toward discovering who I am.
This blog is dedicated to Jeyamohan.
